Crowdfunding Campaign

For 5yrs we have been entirely unique in Sweden because we look and sound like a cinema, but officially, we are not a “real” cinema. And then, late last year, it happened - we caved.

We bought a 2k DCP compatible projector and registered with Filmägarnas Kontrollbyrå - just like everyone else. We even have surround sound speakers on their way.

But that's AWESOME, right!?!!!

Yes absolutely. It's fantastic. WE COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED!

What this means is you will have 3X more pixels on the screen, surround sound and a new cinema in Malmö offering programming that includes sublime arthouse and world cinema, and simply fun, entertaining movies.  

But the thing is we underestimated the installation costs and so, in the do-it-together spirit we've always had, we are turning to you for help with this.

Your donation will be used to build a projection room which needs walls, doors, ventilation and electricity.

We are extremely grateful for any amount you feel you can donate to our cause to be the newest cinema in Sweden. We literally cannot do this without each of you!

In recognition of your support, everyone who makes a donation will have their name engraved on a plaque on the new door into the projection room at the top of our spiral staircase. You may, of course, choose to remain anonymous. We know you’ve always wanted an excuse to climb those stairs! Let's do this together!
